KJ is the newest member of the TAPS Team. He became
interested in the Paranormal at an early age. While
visiting family, in a very old home in New England, KJ
had an experience with something he could not explain.
“It was an ‘interactive’, and somewhat transparent,
apparition of a man who seemed to want to talk to me,
but could not speak…then he was gone.” He spent every
remaining night that week looking for an answer to what
he had seen and felt. Since that first night he has been
on his own personal quest to search out “true”
paranormal activity, from a technical and spiritual (not
religious) point of view, and to seek out the answers to
his own questions about the life beyond now.

KJ currently lives in Colorado,. He comes to TAPS with a
very “blue collar” approach. His background as a
building contractor, fine woodworker and steel
fabricator gives him a solid understanding of old
structures and the mechanics behind them.

Educated at the University of Rhode Island and CU
Boulder, he came to Colorado to race Mtn Bikes in 1991.
An avid outdoorsman with interests in Cycling, climbing,
fishing, back country snowboarding and camping. KJ has
played ice hockey his entire life and still plays in an
adult league in Colorado. I love fast cars and anything
with an engine. Most of my activities require some sort
of extreme adrenalin rush.

I enjoy playing music in a band back home, playing bass
and keys. Been doing that for the last 6 years on and
off. I am also a master woodworker and ornamental steel
fabricator for the last 15 years and love working with
my hands. I have worked with some of the finest wood and
steal fabricators over the years, on many of the most
amazing architectural homes in Boulder, Denver and the
surrounding mountains. I love what I do because it keeps
me in touch with my creativity, and allows me the
ability to create something that will inspire awe in the
eyes of the beholder!

I have been a friend of Jason’s since childhood. We grew
up in the same neighborhood and went to the same
schools. We recently reconnected over the last few years
and decided to meet up for an investigation at the
Stanley Hotel. Since that investigation we had been in
touch many times over the phone and through emails,
discussing our thoughts and experiences with the
Paranormal. I believe my experiences and passions about
the paranormal, and my desire to seek out the truth
behind them has brought me to where I am today, and as a
member of TAPS.

I am a dedicated family man as well. Married to an
amazing woman, we have a fantastic son and look forward
to more kids. We both love to get outdoors and climb
together, pack up the gear, pitch a tent, grab the dog
and let’s go!
